  1. this does not mean you have Diabetes. If you are concerned, go ask your Doctor or Endocrinolgist.
    Try this; the next time you feel thirsty, eat a banana. If your thirst is quenched, you may be Diabetic.

  2. Yes may be If ur glucose level is more u will be considered as Diabetic, the symptoms r Hyperhydrosis ( more sweating ) , frequent urination, frequent thirst and reduced healing of wounds

  3. there are many different types of diabetes, recently on an episode of House, maybe you saw it, he told a girl she has diabetes because she was drinking a bottle of water a lot and something else. Her condition isn’t as bad as some of the other kinds I think.

  4. While I am only a lowly female, I do have a Diabetic Type II that I have been married to for 39 years and was diagnosed 10 years ago.

    Drinking fluid-We are in a hot state so this did not seem noticeable.

    Irritability…Usually this is a clear sign the sugar is high. If the sugar stays level the mood usually does the same.

    urination problems…..Saw Palmetto from the health food store does wonders for this.

    Eliminate sugars, all drinks with sugars and starches (they turn into sugar in your body)

    At the Doctor have your sugar tested and have an A1C test run. This is a three month average of your sugar. It should answer your question.

  5. hey, I’m a 16 year old and has had diabetes for 8 years. when i was first diagnosed my blood sugar was above 800. symptoms for diabetes that i experienced were that i was VERY thirsty, became very tired, got sick a lot, couldn’t go to sleep, and felt very weak. email me if you have anymore questions about diabetes and i will be more than happy to answer them for you.

  7. well generally people with diabetes hav a high level of sugar in theirurine because there is so much sugar in their blood their organs may hav trouble storing it all or if ur cells arnt responding to ur bodie’s insulin than blood sugar grows higher…causing diabetes!

    Drinking a lot of water because of excessive thirst can be a symptom of diabetes. So can weight loss and inability to get or maintain an erection. A simple blood/urine test at the doctor’s office can show if your blood sugar level is too high.

    Why the insistence on men’s answers only? Except for the erection business, the symptoms are the same for men and women.

  9. If you start have penis problems e.g. can’t get it up, can’t keep it up, numbness in your penis. Also if your butt, fingers, toes go numb then you need to see a DOCTOR!

  10. It is a simple test to see if you have diabetes. Asking on Yahoo Answers is not a good way to find out. Go to you doctor, get the test, then you will know.

  12. Don’t worry!!! Incresed thirst is a symthom of anything from the common cold to dehydration. I’m a diabetic and was diagnosed in November of 2006. Other symptom of diabetes are gas (your body is getting suger out of you system by putting it in you digestive tract and the bacteria are eating it and release gas as waste), unexplianed hunger, unexplained thirst, frequent urineation, headache, sweating, blurred vision, tiredness, lack of concentration. Extream cases and ketoacidosis (Toxin build up from your body burning fat to survive) symptoms are dry, warm, or flushed skin, nausea, vomiting, stomach pains, labored breathing, unconsciousness, coma, and/or weight loss. If you are still worried, go to your doctor, but I think your incresed thirst is from the warmer weather.
